The ‘SIGNIS World Congress’, a congress that gathers Catholic journalists and communicators from all around the world, is held every 4 years but this year, for the first time, this religious event is also held in the Metaverse.
On the day of the event, the metaverse platform ‘SIGNIS FR’ developed by GG56 had a special opportunity to be introduced officially through a presentation.

드디어 기쁜 마음으로 기다리고 기다리던 2022 서울 시그니스 세계총회가 개최되었다는 소식을 공유 드리게 되었네요.
4년마다 열리는 전 세계 가톨릭 언론인과 커뮤니케이터들의 총회인 ‘시그니스 세계총회’가 이번에는 종교행사 최초로 메타버스 플랫폼으로도 진행되었습니다.
행사 당일 많은 취재진이 방문한 가운데 GG56에서 개발한 메타버스 플랫폼 ‘시그니스FR(SIGNIS FR)’을 현장에서 소개할 기회를 얻어 약 10분여간 발표를 진행했습니다.

이날 2022 시그니스 세계총회 조직위원회 위원장이자 GG56 창립자 한승수 전 국무총리는 환영사를 통해
“복음화의 실천에 있어 디지털 미디어가 무엇을 할 수 있고 무엇을 해야 되는지 반문해보라”며 “그 가능성이 현실이 되는 것을 체험하길 기대한다”고 말했습니다.
